Welcome to this week’s
I didn’t feel like writing this week.
I’ve been busy and feeling really tired lately. I’m in my luteal phase, which means my cycle is due to reset any day now—and I’m feeling it deeply. My energy has been focused more on myself, my needs, and what’s been directly in front of me than on my creative work.
I typically have a lot to share with you all in these bi-weekly Sunday Letters—I’ll be excited to round up what I did over the past two weeks, or to share some lesson or assignment that came to me recently.
But I don’t have that today.
However, with anything you commit yourself to, discipline and showing up—even when you don’t feel like it—is warranted. And it’s better to show up imperfectly than not to show up at all.
I am also a firm believer in keeping it real, and what’s real for me right now (and for many other human beings out there) is that sometimes I just plain don’t have the energy.
Like with anything I create and put my being into, my work cannot be forced, even when committing to showing up. Forcing diminishes integrity. I commit to show up authentically, always.
So, here I am, showing up to publish my newsletter. Because even though I didn’t feel drawn or compelled to write much for this week’s Letter, showing up for you all—for myself—still feels good. And, maybe you, too, can relate to not always feeling like it.
I’m also accepting that sometimes I just need to be. Sometimes, I’m just feeling more »inward«.
That’s real. And I think this was worth sharing.
And while I don’t have much news to share in this week’s Sunday Letter, I still wanted to take the time to say hi and welcome all of my new subscribers who have joined me here since my last few newsletters!
I started this newsletter as writing is a form of creative expression that has always been natural for me. It’s how I express, expand on, and share my ideas, passions, and knowledge. If you’re new here, I invite you to head to my newsletter homepage to check out my previous posts, and I hope you will stick around for what’s to come―I have a lot planned!
I did want to share some recent meals that I have nourished myself with, as making these bowls and plates in my kitchen brings me a lot of joy. I have been making an intentional effort to eat enough protein to satiate me, balance blood sugar, support healthy hormones, and promote recovery as I intend to move my body more frequently lately.

So much of eating well depends on how you stock your kitchen: your fridge, and your pantry.
One of the topics I will be covering in my DEEP Dive series is building a kitchen for holistic health with some of my favorite non-toxic kitchen tools, products, and grocery list items that I keep on-hand in my kitchen. I will also be sharing an issue with my tips for eating clean and nutrient-dense on a budget—both of which will be free to all.
I love hearing from you all and would love to hear if there are any other topics you would like me to cover, or if there is something specific you would be hoping to get out of any of these upcoming issues.

My vintage Pilates reformer that I scored from Facebook Marketplace last month has also been repaired and is back up-and-running!
I have been moving and grooving a lot more lately, including through dancing at home and out and about, and doing some sessions on my reformer or a mat in my living room.
I’ve never been a big, consistent, fitness or gym person. However, recently, I’ve been finding my own rhythm with movement and leaning in to what feels good to me―I have been amazed at my body’s capacity to do so much! It’s all the more reason to take care of it.
Fitness isn’t just for looks or aesthetic―it’s about feeling good and capable in your body and carrying your strength and agency into older age.
I will be working on a DEEP Dive on holistic body care and my tips for finding and making fitness work for you.
Stay tuned!
